Through exhibits and events, the Hall of Fame preserves the rich history of athletics and fosters a spirit of pride and unity among sports enthusiasts. The Miles College Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1977, and incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Alabama on May 9, 2008. We are non-profit, tax exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The IRS has determined that donors to the Miles College Sports Hall of Fame may deduct all contributions as provided in section 170 of the code.
Purpose
To perpetuate the tradition which athletics has established at Miles College.
Vision
To promote, perpetuate and motivate critical school and community services to preserve the gallant deeds, talents, skills and fame of our sons and daughters and brothers and sisters of Miles College.
Mission
To commit and utilize our embedded values to solicit funding and provide resources toward the glorification and advancement of Miles College.
